The Family-to-Family program is one of several signature programs developed by the NAMI. Research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to an individual living with a mental health condition.

During the month of March, Luzerne-Wyoming Counties Mental Health and Developmental Services will be celebrating the unique abilities of individuals with developmental disabilities in our local community. This is one of two events we will be hosting.

Luzerne-Wyoming Counties System of Care has booked 2 identical sessions of Trauma 103, provided by Lakeside Global Institute.
Trauma 103 is the 3rd session of the Trauma 100 series. Recognizing Vicarious & Secondary Trauma for Caregivers.
Trauma 101 & 102 are NOT prerequisites to this course, but are absolutely recommended in becoming Trauma Aware.

Experience the effects of poverty through an interactive morning session.
COPE was co-designed with low-income individuals and allows a group of participants to experience a simulation of one month in the life of a family or individual living below the poverty line.
Afternoon sessions will focus on multiple effects of poverty.
