The Luzerne County 9-1-1 center's annual open house will be held on June 9th, 2018 at 10am.  This year, Luzerne County will be celebrating its 20th year since the first 9-1-1 call was made in June of 1998.  The open house allows for the public a rare opportunity to see how the 9-1-1 center operates from your incoming call to how it is sent to the first responders.  You will also have the opportunity to explore the helicopters, fire apparatus and the center itself which includes our training facility that can give you a hands on experience on how your calls are processed.  

There is a ceremony which begins at 10:15am to honor our dispatchers and staff for their outstanding service for the year.  Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to this once a year experience!
