Under Developmental Services, there are three types of Medicaid Waiver Services that an individual with intellectual disability, autism or developmental disability can be eligible to allow them to be independent and support them in their home and community.
These three waivers are: The Consolidated Waiver, Person/Family Directed Support Waiver (P/FDS) and the Community Living Waiver.
There are no age limits for these waivers, but must have the intellectual disability, autism or developmental disability, the level of Care need and financial eligibility criteria met.
The Consolidated Waiver has no annual service cap, but Person/Family Directed Support Waiver has an annual service cap of $41,000 (2022 year) and the Community Living Waiver (became effective January 1, 2022) has an annual cap of $85,000.
