Court Collections
The Court Collections Division is responsible for the management, enforcement, and collection of all restitution, fines, and costs, ordered by the Court of Common Pleas of Luzerne County. The Division upholds the highest ethical standards to carry out impartial and accurate collection techniques, thus promoting public confidence and trust in the judicial system.
The Division’s goal is to increase overall compliance with payment orders assessed by the Court of Common Pleas of Luzerne County by:
- Formulating payment schedules that are reasonable and fair to both the defendant, victims, and the Courts, thus promoting payment in full
- Collecting the maximum dollar amount toward assessments on all court orders in a timely manner
- Maximizing the use of voluntary and court-ordered payroll deduction and attachment of earnings
- Extending the collection time frame for monies owed beyond the end of other periods of supervision
Payments are accepted on-line via AOPC ePay or in person at the address on the right.
