District Attorney Outreach
The District Attorney’s Office is devoted to keeping Luzerne County a safe place to live, work and raise a family. A considerable amount of resources go into addressing the challenges that violent crime and gang violence present to local government, law enforcement and residents. It is the continued commitment of our communities that help make law enforcement efforts so successful. Trainings and educational seminars have been developed to educate the public on how to become active in the fight to regain control of our neighborhoods.
Neighborhood Crime Watch Efforts
The District Attorney’s Office is aware of the many issues that undermine the safety and security of Luzerne County residents. It is through the joint efforts of state, county and local law enforcement as well as the eyes and ears of our neighborhood crime watch groups that will help curtail the crime and drug activity within Luzerne County.
In addition to attending crime watch meetings throughout Luzerne County, District Attorney Sanguedolce hosts an annual countywide crime watch meeting to discuss what law enforcement is seeing countywide, resources available to residents of Luzerne County and designees from county and local agencies to answer any questions they may have.
