Our Emergency Management Agency is responsible for the judicious planning, assignment and coordination of all available resources for an integrated program of prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery for emergencies of any kind that may occur within Luzerne County.

What's new?

Our organization is continuing our "year of HAZMAT Training" with an Operations Level class now scheduled for May and June!

A G386 Mass Fatalities Incident Response course is coming to Luzerne County EMA for June, currently the only one offered in the state!!
