The Luzerne County Bureau of Elections has finalized the list of polling places for the upcoming January 31, 2023 Special Election.

Please see the list of polling places below.  As a reminder, by law, voters must go to their designated polling location to vote in-person on election day.

While a small number of polling places change from election to election due to feedback from the community, construction, and other reasons, the vast majority of polling places typically remain unchanged. A total of 2 polling places for the January 31, 2023 Special Election have changed since the 2022 election.

These new polling places include the following:

Butler Township Districts 2, 3, and 4 will now be voting at Edgewood Golf Course located at 22 Edgewood Drive, Drums, PA 18222.

Fairview Township Districts 1 and 2 will now be voting at the Fairview Township Municipal Building located at 65 Shady Tree Drive, Mountain Top, PA 18707.

Polling-place change notices were mailed to voters in these precincts.

Voters also are encouraged to review a sample ballot for their precinct before voting. Voters may bring notes with their picks to help simplify voting. Sample ballots are at https://www.luzernecounty.org/DocumentCenter/View/30857/2023-Special-Election-Sample-Ballots.

At this time, wearing a mask is optional for both voters and poll workers.

There are no referenda questions on the January 31st ballot.
