  1. When will the Application Portal be available?
    The application portal will only be available during the application window. The exact opening and closing dates for the application window have not yet been announced, but the window is expected to begin during the first week of October. Sign up to receive a notification when the application window dates are announced.
  2. Why is there only a 2-week window to apply?
    In order to ensure all eligible applicants have the opportunity to receive funding, grants are not being awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.  All applications submitted during the application window will be accepted and those meeting eligibility requirements will be processed.
  3. How will the grant amounts be determined?
    There is a total of $8 million available for Small Business and $2 million available for Nonprofit Organizations. Grant amounts will be determined based on the total number of qualified applicants.
  4. How long will it take to get approved?
    Eligibility determinations will not begin until the application window (Stage 1) has closed. Stage 2 reviews will require additional documentation. Once final eligibility is determined, recipients will be notified. Please review the documentation required for Small Businesses and Nonprofit Organizations and begin preparing these documents now in order to meet any deadlines for Stage 1 and Stage 2 submissions.
