Notice: As a public service, on May 4th, The Luzerne County Bureau of Elections sent a mass mailing to all voters registered in Luzerne County which included blank application forms for mail-in ballots. If you have already submitted a request for a mail-in ballot, you may disregard this extra copy. You only need to submit one application per individual registered voter.
Deadlines for the 2020 General
*Note that deadlines regarding forms/ballots mailed in are the dates they must be RECEIVED in the elections office. Please allow time for the Postal Service to deliver by that date.
Monday, October 19th - Last day to register to vote.
Tuesday, October 27th - Applications for a mail-in ballot or absentee ballot must be received in the Bureau of Elections office by 5 pm.
Monday, November 2nd - Last day to submit for delivery military and oversees absentee ballots.
Tuesday, November 3rd - Mail-in ballots and Absentee ballots must be received in the Bureau of Elections office by 8:00 pm.
Tuesday, November 3rd - Polls open from 7:00am until 8:00pm
Tuesday, November 10th - Military and oversees absentee ballots must be received in the Bureau of Elections office by 5:00 pm.
