The Music Box Dinner Theater in Forty Fort provides outstanding dinner theater entertainment throughout the year. Wilkes-Barre Artistic Theatre Ensemble is the areas newest theatre group. Showcase Theatre’s acting company performs in Exeter in a comfortable, one hundred thirty-five seat theatre that features round staging.
Movie goers have a new theater to experience in downtown Wilkes-Barre. The new R/C Theatres Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 located at Northampton and Main Streets opened at the end of June 2006. Patrons can enjoy the stadium seating and the all Dolby Digital Sound System in each of the 14 theatres. Ample parking is located conveniently near the theater.
Once the complex that houses the theatre is completed, the development will include both retail and restaurant space as well as condominiums.
