Wilkes-Barre, Nanticoke, & Pittston 

The Luzerne County Treasurer’s Office will collect the county taxes for Nanticoke, Pittston, and Wilkes-Barre cities for 2009.

 Office hours are 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

• Rebate period (60 days) March 3^rd to May 1^st 
• Face period (60 days) May 2^nd to June 30^th
• Penalty period (120 days) July 1^st to December 31^st

 We do accept postmark.

 Please forward all tax bills to your mortgage company as soon as possible.

 Please take time to make sure you are paying the right amount for rebate, face and penalty.

 Checks should be made payable to Luzerne County Treasurer. Our address is at the top of the bill. All incorrect checks will be sent back. No refunds will be issued. Bad check fee is $25.00.

 Please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you require a receipt. No receipt will be sent without a SASE.

  Tax certifications are five dollars ($5.00) for each property and must include name, property location, plate & pin number.
