Luzerne County Commissioner Greg Skrepenak Joins ‘Film-cutting’ to Open Wilkes-Barre 14 Theatre Complex

(Wilkes-Barre)-On July 20th, 2006, Luzerne County Commission Chairman Gregory A. Skrepenak joined Governor Ed Rendell, members of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Legislative Delegation, Wilkes-Barre Mayor Tom Leighton, and R/C Theatres President Wayne Anderson in officially opening the Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 Cineplex, which is part of the sparkling new Northampton & Main Complex in downtown Wilkes-Barre. Commissioner Skrepenak along with Commissioner Todd A. Vonderheid authorized the use of $2.5 million dollars in Community Development funding for completion of the project, which has sparked a renaissance in downtown Wilkes-Barre.
