Commissioners Explain the Challenges and Accomplishments Experienced in Running Luzerne County Government

(Wilkes-Barre) - Luzerne County Commission Chairman Gregory A. Skrepenak and Commissioner Stephen A. Urban explained the fine points of guiding the business of Luzerne County Government, when Leadership Wilkes-Barre's Class of 2007 visited the Luzerne County Courthouse for it's yearly County Government Day on March 1, 2007.  The event, hosted by Recorder of Deeds Mary Dysleski, featured presentations from the Commissioners, as well of tours of the historic Luzerne County Courthouse, and explanations of the multitude of responsibilities with which Luzerne County government is charged, and the the offices which see that they are carried out. The mission of Leadership Wilkes-Barre, headed by Executive Director Lori Nocito, is to assist the region's future leaders by providing them with essential knowledge and experiences.
