Commissioner Skrepenak Delivers Check, Helps Break Ground for New Recreational Opportunities

(Duryea Borough) - Luzerne County Commission Chairman Gregory A. Skrepenek and County Public Information Officer Kathy Bozinski joined Duryea Borough Officials in a check presentation  and groundbreaking on May 2nd, 2007 for a new recreational park which will be developed on property directly behind the Duryea Borough Building.  There to receive the check for $300,000 were Duryea Mayor Keith Moss and Council Chairman Al Akulonis, along with other members of borough council.  The park will feature a pavillion, walking trail, and activities for borough residents of all ages.
