Commissioners Visit Unified Medical Informatics and other Residents of the Business Incubator

(Wilkes-Barre) - Luzerne County Commission Chairman Gregory A. Skrepenak and Commissioner Rose S. Tucker recently visited the Innovation Center in downtown Wilkes-Barre, to learn more about a number of start-up businesses which are currently housed in the center.  The tour was led by Innovation Center Director John Augustine.  One of the newest ventures housed in the Innovation Center is Unified Medical Informatics, a company which has developed a methodology that automates the entire healthcare provider end-user experience, including patient diagnosis, medical records storage, scheduling, billing, collection laboratory and insurance transaction processing.  The Luzerne County Commissioners recently allocated seed funding to Unified Medical Informatics. The system was outlined by Managing Director Dr. Sanjay Udoshi and Chief Operating Officer John Hubiak, RN.
