Each year, Rotary International District 74 10 participates in a Rotary Foundation
program called GSE, which stands for "Group Study Exchange". This program allows
young professionals from various countries to visit other countries and interact with
corresponding professionals in their fields. Insights into the functions of the business
community in each country are gained through vocational days conducted by the hosting
Rotary clubs in the district. Many long term personal bonds are made through this
program with the hosting families.

This year the group is comprised of young professionals from Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus.
Some are involved with education. Some are involved with computer technology. The team
leader is a neuro-physiologist. The Rotary gives the broadest experience to each participant
so that they bring back a positive image of Luzerne County and Pennsylvania.
