INMATE DISCIPLINARY HEARING EXAMINER
 
LUZERNE COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
 
 
The Luzerne County Correctional Facility is currently accepting applications for the managerial position of Inmate Disciplinary Hearing Examiner. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Possess US Citizenship and Government Identification. Have no felony convictions, domestic violation convictions, drug related offenses or criminal charges pending. Possess a Selective Service Registration Card. Applicants must successfully complete state mandatory training programs, as well as a criminal background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
 
This position requires knowledge in due process and relevant points of law as well as administrative directives, procedures and Facility rules and regulations.
 
The person selected for this position will review evidence, determine relevance of witnesses, interview witnesses, determine guilt or innocence and impose sanctions consistent with administrative policies and procedures.
 
This position is part time, twenty (20) hours per week at $10.00 per hour.
