SURVEY BEING TAKEN TO ALL TWP. RESIDENTS
The surveys from Luz. Co. Transportation for the bus stop have arrived.
They can be picked up at the Township Office.
Surveys will also be dropped off at houses
within the Township starting next week.
---------------------------------------------- Luzerne County is considering a bus stop in our Township.
The Township will be conducting surveys to verify an interest in public transportation from here to the Wilkes-Barre area.
The stop will be at the Township Municipal Office and will travel up Rte 11 to Kingston Corners right on Market St. to Public Square. From there, the passengers can get on all the other buses to go wherever they need to go.
Travel time from here will be 30 minutes.
The survey is to see how many people are really interested in using the bus and what time of the day they would like to go and return.
